Privacy Policy
HaloSwitch keeps its settings and app-switching history on your Mac. The app does not collect data from your device.
Data used on your Mac
HaloSwitch lists running applications so you can switch between them. It stores settings, pinned and excluded applications, and local usage history in macOS UserDefaults. This history helps rank applications while keeping their positions familiar.
If you enable window previews, macOS asks for Screen Recording permission. HaloSwitch uses ScreenCaptureKit to show a small image of a visible window belonging to the highlighted app. The image is held in memory while the ring is open. It is not saved as a file or sent anywhere.
Data collection and sharing
HaloSwitch does not require an account and does not include analytics, advertising or third-party SDKs. It does not send settings, application lists, usage history or window previews to Westley Rotolo or to third parties. Apple handles App Store downloads and purchases under its own privacy terms.
Your controls
You can change pinned and excluded apps in Settings. Window previews are optional; you can revoke Screen Recording permission in macOS System Settings. For help removing locally stored settings and ranking data, email westley@outlook.it. HaloSwitch has no server-side copy to delete.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if HaloSwitch's data practices change. For privacy questions, contact Westley Rotolo at westley@outlook.it.
